Dr. Abraham Van Helsing
He is a professor of Dr. Seward, who is brought in when he cannot figure out what is wrong with Lucy. He is more traditional in his thinking and is able to recognize that Dracula is behind Lucy’s illness. He is intelligent, optimistic and a good leader, cheering people up when their spirits are down after a failed attack on Dracula. He is efficient and a strong person, both physically and mentally. He is respectful of others and sensitive in his approach. He is also confident and firm in his beliefs, shown when he stands up to Dracula’s brides.
